Garrett and team reached the summit of Mt. Everest just around 8:30 AM local time!! They appear to be below The Balcony now and nearly safely back to Camp 4 on the South Col.
Boy Scout Troop 778 is so very proud of our former Scoutmaster, Mr. Mike Gibbons as well as the entire Everest Trek team. Congratulations on making the summit to the top of the world! We've been following you weekly, then daily, then hourly as you all made your push to the summit. We look forward to hearing all about the expedition when Mr Gibbons returns. You raised the bar on what is means to go on a "High Adventure Trek".
